It started like this
Lebanto was founded by Emanuela and Alessandro, Italians and under 35, with the desire to challenge conventions and with a passionate love for made in Italy, the real one. They realize how the fast-furniture phenomenon is gaining ground in recent years. Inexpensive furniture, sent home in a flash, then ended up being thrown away just as quickly. Like fashion. They believe that barriers to access to Italian production and superior quality materials must be removed. They argue that returning to simplicity and clarity, to 'less but good', to things well done, is truly the key to a sustainable, ethical and close to people future.

We showed up at the door of artisans in the Cantù district, world-famous for woodwork and not far from Lake Como.
