The Hirado round coffee table by Lebanto pairs a round marble top with a solid oak cross-leg base, a low, architectural centrepiece for a living space, sized to sit in front of a sofa or to anchor an intimate seating arrangement. The base is built from two solid oak panels that interlock perpendicular to one another, a cross-leg structure where the join is the form, left visible rather than concealed. The round top rests on it cleanly, stone meeting wood with no applied ornament.
Available with a natural or smoked oak base. Natural oak brings honeyed, open-grained warmth. Smoked oak reads deeper, brown to near-black, the grain still legible beneath the darker tone, and sits especially well under the more dramatic marbles.
Three marble tops. Calacatta Viola, white-to-cream with dramatic purple-and-burgundy veining, once favoured by the Medici. Roman Travertine, creamy beige and softly layered, the stone of ancient Rome. Emperador Dark, deep brown with fine lighter veining, the warmest and most grounded of the three.
